This publication provides a comprehensive overview of the work of one of the most distinctive painters on the contemporary Slovak scene. In eight chapters, it maps her work since 2013 and traces the development of an artist who combines intuitive and spontaneous expression with an expressive style and rich colorism in her paintings. Her work has long been shaped by movement – travel, residencies, and wandering through the countryside. In recent years, her attention has focused on her immediate surroundings, exploring the botanical, cultural, and historical layers of the landscape, and painting as a way of intensely and personally experiencing the world.
