The exhibition presents a generational cross-section of, and probe into, works by six prominent contemporary artists from Slovakia: Klára Bočkayová (1948), Veronika Rónaiová (1951), Jana Farmanová (1970), Dorota Sadovská (1973), Alexandra Barth (1989) and Kristína Bukovčáková (1991).

Some of the works displayed at The Optical Eye exhibition date back to the 60s and contemporary art; they reference and employ the principle of optical traps, which deceive the eye and the mind of spectators.
